The family-owned Vaugh Spadaccini Hospitality Group is growing its footprint with the expansion of Crave Italian Oven & Bar.

Led by Nick Vaugh and Steve Spadaccini, the duo plans to open a third Crave location at SayeBrook Town Center in spring 2027.

“Crave is 10 years old and it’s just natural evolution with the growth to the South Strand,” Vaugh told What Now Charleston. “It’s a very busy commercial district paired with a growing residential district, so combined it puts a lot of people at our doorstep and we’re excited to serve them.”

The new Crave location will feature an enclosed patio with an outdoor bar, in addition to a full indoor bar and dining room.

Crave serves a modern take on Italian cuisine, offering brick‑oven pizzas, classic pastas, hearty entrees like Stuffed Chicken Eleanor and Seafood Pompeii, and shareable appetizers such as fried calamari and arancini. The menu also features soups, salads, Italian‑style sandwiches and seasonal desserts.

The bar menu includes an expanded wine selection, along with martinis such as “Grandma’s Peach,” made with Grand Marnier, Chambord, peach liqueur, and muddled strawberries and basil. Cocktails feature “I’ll Have Anotha’,” with Skyy vodka, house-made limoncello, muddled blueberries, mint and Chambord. After-dinner drinks include an Italian coffee, an espresso martini and a s’mores old-fashioned.

Craving Italian cuisine? Crave currently operates its two other locations in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.

“It’s approximately 16 miles between the South Strand location and the Myrtle Beach location, and then another 16 miles from Myrtle Beach to North Myrtle, so it’s an equal distance between each location,” he said.

Vaugh said he is excited about Crave’s continued growth.

“We’re committed to the community and giving back to the community. The community, over the last 10 years, has supported us and our growth. We’re grateful for that as we continue to grow in the Grand Strand and we’re excited for the future,” he said.
