Part service station, part restaurant, and all Southern hospitality, the Savannah-based Parker’s Kitchen is expanding in the Jacksonville area.
What Now reported back in October on plans for Parker’s Kitchen to open a new location at 7481 Wilson Blvd in Jacksonville. Now, coverage by YuleeNews.com has expanded the scope of Parker’s Kitchen’s plans for the area, confirming an additional three locations:
- 11205 Alta Drive in North Jacksonville
- Blanding and Tanglewood Boulevard in Orange Park
- 76010 William Burgess Blvd in Wildlight, Yulee
“Jacksonville’s fast-growing population, robust economy and growing retail market make it an attractive region for expansion,” said Amanda Thompson, Senior Director of Real Estate and Development at Parker’s Kitchen. “With its business-friendly environment and vibrant lifestyle appeal, the city offers tremendous opportunity. As a company, expanding into the Jacksonville market aligns seamlessly with our strategic growth objectives. We’re excited to support the local community and to contribute to its ongoing success as the area continues to grow.”
Parker’s Kitchen was founded in Midway, Georgia in 1976 by Founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker. It was honored as a USA TODAY Top Workplace for 2024, and it’s growing fast with the killer combination of a convenience store and service station setup, plus a kitchen serving up “award-winning, Southern-inspired food made from scratch daily, including a hot breakfast bar, hand-breaded, never-frozen Southern Fried Chicken Tenders and daily specials,” say materials provided by a representative.
“Widely known as one of the most generous companies in the Southeast, Parker’s Kitchen gives back to every community where stores are located and has donated more than $30 million to local charitable causes over the past eight years.”
What Now is awaiting further details on Parker’s Kitchen’s progress toward its Jacksonville debut, so stay tuned for more!
