Something new is coming to Suite 5 at 1039 Hendricks Ave. This week, What Now came across plan review paperwork submitted by Salavino, LLC for a Restaurant/Food Service project called The Huguenot at that address.

Details are still scarce on the Huguenot. What Now reached out this week to Chad Munsey, one of the owners behind Salavino, LLC. Munsey declined to comment at this time, however.

An announcement is expected in the coming weeks that will provide more details about The Huguenot, with information about its food and beverage program (along with any other components the business may have).

For the moment, the only clue we have to go on is the name: The Huguenots were a group of French Protestants in the 16th and 17th Centuries, who faced persecution in Catholic France and eventually migrated to places like England, North America, and South Africa.

Opening in the Hendricks Avenue Location, the Huguenot will be part of a business community that includes nearby restaurants like The Cady Club, BB’s Restaurant & Bar, and Clara’s Tidbits Restaurant.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available!
