With one restaurant in Columbia, South Carolina, and another at 4463 Deerwood Lake Parkway in Jacksonville, Bibimbox Korean Kitchen & Wings is preparing to bring its “crispy, crunchy goodness!” to a second Jacksonville location. According to coverage by the Jacksonville Daily Record, Bibimbox has filed for permits to demolish and build out a 1,787-square-foot space at 8221 Southside Blvd, Unit 11.
Bibimbox serves up a menu featuring Appetizers like Fried Dumplings and Mozzarella Cheese Sticks. There are two different varieties of the beloved street food Tteokbokki, and then there’s fried chicken, prepared with flavor profiles like Soy Garlic, Yangnum, and Fire Chicken.
To complete the picture, there are also Bibimbap Bowls like Original Bibimbap Bowl (White Rice, Beef Bulgogi, carrots, spinach, bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms, cucumber, OG bibimbox sauce, fried egg), the Spicy Pork Belly Bowl (white rice, spicy pork belly, carrots, bean sprouts, spinach, mushrooms, seaweed flakes, scallions, sesame aioli), and the Veggie Bowl (purple rice, fried tofu, carrots, edamame, chickpeas, spinach, pickled cabbage, sesame seeds, OG bibimbox sauce, sesame ginger sauce).
“At Bibimbox Korean Kitchen & Wings, we’re serving up crispy, crunchy, Korean fried chicken and bold, flavorful Korean eats!” says the Bibimbox website. “Our fast-casual restaurant brings you the best Korean comfort food, from the classic bibimbap, to spicy tteokbokki and Korean shaved ice (bingsu), made to satisfy every craving.
