The word is out about a new location from the wine and restaurant company in Detroit.

Cooper’s Hawk is getting ready to debut a new Southeast Michigan location this spring at 17115 N Laurel Park Drive in Livonia. This is set to be the company’s fifth location in the state. Construction is underway, and the restaurant and winery is set to open on March 2.

The company has become well-known across the country for the exclusive wine club memberships, offering the choices of multiple wines per month. Along with the memberships, many dine at Cooper’s Hawk locations for brunch and dinner options. Now, Cooper’s Hawk manages around 70 locations across the U.S.

“We passionately believe that food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections,” says the description on their website. Their wines range from whites to sparklings, pinot noirs and sauvignon blanc. Guests are hard pressed to find a wine that doesn’t fit their preference.

Founded by Tim McEnery in 2005, the Orland Park-based wine company has been growing more in recent years. The restaurants serve entrees like the signature Cooper’s Hawk chicken giardiniera, served with house-made pickled vegetables and potatoes. Salads, sandwiches, appetizers and desserts can also be expected.

The restaurant and winery will be at a convenient spot for visitors as it is being built right off off the highway on Six Mile Road. This is in front of the Holiday Inn Detroit Northwest, and close to Laurel Park Place shopping mall. Those driving to Cooper’s Hawk will enter from N Laurel Park Drive.

Nearest Cooper’s Hawk locations in Southeast Detroit are in Troy and Clinton Township, with two more Michigan restaurants in Lansing and Kentwood. There is no word on additional locations opening around the state as of right now.
