A new pizzeria from a familiar team is headed to Boston’s Beacon Hill.
Award-winning hospitality group BCB3 Hospitality—the team behind ZURiTO, Temple Records, Sushi @ Temple Records, and Somaek—is opening Willie’s next door to ZURiTO at 20 Charles St, a representative for the company confirmed with What Now Boston.
BCB3 co-owners Andy Cartin, Jamie Bissonnette, and Babak Bina bring a string of critically acclaimed projects to the table. The group was named “Restaurant Group of the Year” by The Boston Globe in 2024. Additionally, Somaek has earned a Michelin recommendation and was recognized by The New York Times in 2024.
“As BCB3’s fifth restaurant in less than two years, the project reflects the group’s continued momentum as it continues to play a central role in shaping Boston’s current dining landscape,” the team said.
Designed as a neighborhood pizza joint, Willie’s will serve a seasonal, American Italian-inspired menu of small plates, thin-crust pizzas, and housemade pastas. And Unlike BCB3’s other restaurants, Willie’s will also offer takeout and delivery for diners who want to enjoy their meals at home.
According to Boston Magazine, the pizzas—each roughly 10 to 11 inches—will blend classics with playful twists, including a traditional margherita, a gilda with olives and anchovies nodding to ZURiTO’s pintxos, and a vodka-sauce pepperoni topped with sun-dried tomatoes. Pastas and small plates will shift with the seasons and the chefs’ whims.
The menu will be complemented by a wine list curated by Director of Wine Nader Asgari-Tari and an amaro-forward cocktail program by Director of Spirits Oscar Simoza.
Willie’s is slated to open mid-March 2026. For menu, reservation, and grand opening updates, be sure to follow @williesboston on Instagram or visit williesboston.com.
