Four locally owned businesses are preparing to open at West Sacramento’s Southport Town Center, adding fresh food, fitness, and retail options to the growing development.

According to the Sacramento Business Journal, a new concept called Chicken Go-Go is slated to open in a 1,100-square-foot space at 2055 Town Center Plaza, Suite G120. The fast-casual eatery will join a growing lineup that includes Ben’s Barketplace, P2O Hot Pilates & Fitness, and BAD Bakers.

Chicken Go-Go will open next door to Aloha Poke & Ramen in Suite G110, sharing the same owner, Jolin Yao. While a full menu has yet to be released, the concept’s name suggests a focus on approachable chicken favorites, including crispy tenders, sandwiches, wings, and combo plates for quick, casual dining.

The development has also attracted a local favorite. Last year, What Now Sacramento reported that BAD Bakers would expand to Southport Town Center. The bakery has built a devoted following for its Ube Staxx (Filipino Spanish breads), stuffed croissants, and other indulgent pastries.

Both BAD Bakers and Chicken Go-Go are expected to open in spring 2026. Stay tuned for grand opening details as the Southport Town Center lineup continues to grow.
