A restaurant to watch sporting events and grab drinks looks to be moving around the city.
The owner of LYFE Kitchen and Kocktails, Michael Clyburn, recently announced he and the team are looking to move from their current location at 1536 N Cassady Avenue on the northeast side of the city. The restaurant is known for concerts and themed nights. Clyburn told What Now Columbus he is open to new locations right now with no estimated opening date.
Those visiting LYFE Kitchen & Kocktails can expect baskets like the shrimp and whiting, turkey ribs & shrimp, catfish nugget & shrimp and a chicken tender meal. Burgers, salads and sides like cauliflower bites are also available. For drinks, slushies, wines, and mixed drinks are offered.
“Our lively atmosphere is designed for social mixers, fostering a sense of community through a mix of delectable cuisine, innovative cocktails and live sports,” says the description on their website.
On the weekends, the bar has a 30-35 age requirement for some of the events. This includes music from DJ’s with discounts on drinks. During the week, the kitchen is open from 4 p.m.-midnight Tuesday to Thursday for all ages.
LYFE Kitchen and Kocktails currently operates near the intersection of Airport Drive next to Jimmy John’s, and a Donatos Pizza is also at this plaza. John Glenn Columbus International Airport is just east of the plaza, and many hotels for the airport are close to LYFE.
Since starting the restaurant in late 2024, Clyburn has seen success with the restaurant addition and events. As he is looking for a new location, he will be providing more updates on social media including Facebook.
