Splitsville, Canada’s premier family entertainment chain specializing in 10-pin bowling and interactive leisure experiences, is opening new locations in Pickering at 1355 Kingston Road and in Barrie at 35 Mapleview Drive West.

The Pickering location will occupy 30,000 square feet at the Pickering City Centre and is scheduled to open in Fall 2026, according to Retail Insider. The Barrie site, spanning 24,000 square feet within the SmartCentres Barrie South, is also set to open in Fall 2026, according to the company’s website. Both locations will offer modern bowling lanes, VIP experiences, lively arcades, and full-service food and beverage options, making them destinations for families, friends, and groups looking for interactive entertainment.

Splitsville has been expanding across Canada, focusing on large-scale family entertainment centres that combine bowling with other activities. The Pickering site represents a significant investment in the eastern gateway of the Greater Toronto Area, supporting the city centre’s strategy to bring curated entertainment to the area. The Barrie location will introduce 21 lanes of 10-pin bowling, including four VIP lanes, along with a high-tech arcade and lounge spaces for dining and socializing. The Pickering facility will feature 29 bowling lanes, VIP upgrades, a sprawling arcade, and a full bar and restaurant, reflecting Splitsville’s model of combining leisure, food, and social experiences.

Both locations will offer a full menu with appetizers, pizza, wings, burgers, kids’ meals, and options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. Guests will be able to enjoy food at their lanes or in the bar and lounge areas. The Barrie centre will also include private event spaces suitable for birthdays, corporate gatherings, and other celebrations.

Splitsville Entertainment has become known for reinventing bowling through modern scoring systems, arcade games, and interactive experiences. With locations already in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia, these new centres in Pickering and Barrie continue the company’s expansion strategy and commitment to delivering high-quality family entertainment across the country.
