Talkin’ Tacos will open its third location in Jacksonville, Florida, on March 27 at 9711 Applecross Rd. in the Oakleaf area. The grand opening celebration will feature giveaways for the first 100 guests, live entertainment, and complimentary meals for local first responders.
Talkin’ Tacos Expands with Its Largest Jacksonville Space Yet
Talkin’ Tacos covers 3,200 square feet in Oakleaf and is the largest space in Jacksonville, with 58 indoor and 60 outdoor seating. The space features hand-painted murals and neon signage, giving it a lively atmosphere. Customers can place their orders through self-serve kiosks, which have been added for the convenience of the users.
“We’re excited to open in the Oakleaf area of Jacksonville, expanding our presence in a community that’s growing so quickly,” said Mohammad Farraj, co-founder of Talkin’ Tacos.
“Oakleaf is known for its unique rural feel while still offering incredible amenities for families and residents. Authentic Flavors and Creative
Talkin’ Tacos offers signature favorites like Mahi Mahi Burritos, Street Corn, Birria Tacos, and Birria Ramen. The popular beef birria, slowly braised daily for 12 hours, will offer authentic and bold flavor.
The menu also offers desserts like Tajín & Chamoy gummies and Loaded Churros, along with beverages like mangonadas, house-made lemonades, and horchatas. Other offers are Crispy Stack Wrap, Biscoff Churros, and Birria Mac N’ Cheese.
11 New Locations Set for 2026
Talkin’ Tacos was first founded in 2020 as a Miami food truck and has since grown rapidly to 36 locations across the US. The eatery has 11 more openings confirmed for 2026 in Virginia, Washington, D.C., Tennessee, Florida, and New York.
The Oakleaf location will be open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM. With its latest opening in Jacksonville, Talkin’ Tacos continues to build on its rapid growth while bringing its signature flavors to the Oakleaf community.
