“The team behind the multi-venue transformation of the historic Franklin Building has just revealed their second concept — Hail Mary Social Club, a dual-experience sports bar by day and high-energy social club by night,” said an Instagram post published by Tampa Latest last year. “Located at 1701 N. Franklin St., this new spot aims to become a neighborhood staple for game days, elevated dining, craft cocktails, and late-night energy.”
Serving as the first-floor anchor for the reimagined Franklin Building at 1701 N Franklin Street, Hail Mary Social Club will encompass two different modes. By day, it will be a sports bar and restaurant, and then, by night, a social club and lounge. It will be a place “where the energy of the game meets the art of connection—rooted in legacy, designed for belonging.”
“Franklin Street is drawing fresh attention…” said recent coverage by Tampa Bay Business & Wealth. “As development spreads across downtown Tampa, the corridor sits at the center of several of its fastest-growing districts and has begun to emerge as the link connecting them.”
This explains the timeliness of a large redevelopment for the Franklin building, a centrally situated spot in a growing area, bound to attract plenty of traffic.
An opening was originally expected during the winter, but so far the launch has yet to eventuate. In the TBBW coverage published earlier this week, Joshua Pardue, one of the partners behind the redevelopment, said the property is expected to open in 60 to 90 days.
