Just Salad, the fast salad chain offering “craveable flavors, no compromise,” is preparing to launch its first location in Manatee County. According to coverage published by Hoodline last week, the fast-growing salad brand is currently renovating an approximately 2,000-square-foot space at 5231 University Parkway, Unit 113, where it will join the Market at University Town Center.
Just Salad’s salad selection includes choices like the Crispy Chicken Poblano (Extra Crisp Romaine + Shredded Kale, Crispy Chicken, Grated Cotija, Hass Avocado, Roasted Corn, Overnight Pickled Onions, Crunchy Tortillas, Fresh Lime) and Thai Chicken Crunch (Extra Crisp Romaine + Shredded Cabbage, Oven Roasted Chicken, Sliced Carrots, Sliced Cucumbers, Fresh Cilantro, Crispy Wonton Strips, Fresh Lime).
But actually, despite the name, it’s not just salad that’s on the menu. There are also Just Salad’s Market Plates, like the Chicken Tinga Market Plate (Lundberg Basmati Rice, Shredded Chicken Tinga topped with Fresh Cilantro and Grated Cotija, Kale Chickpea + Seed Salad, Street Corn Salsa, Avocado Mash), plus wraps like the Buffalo Chicken Wrap.
“Just Salad began in 2006 with a simple idea: offer healthy, affordable, climate-conscious meals that are irresistibly delicious,” says the Just Salad website. “We started with just salad… really good salad. Today, we’ve grown to over 100 locations across seven states, offering an earth-friendly menu of fresh salads, bowls, wraps, soups, and smoothies. Everything we do—from reusable bowls to top-quality ingredients—is designed to make mindful eating convenient, so you can satisfy your cravings without compromising your values.”
Opening in the Market at UTC, Just Salad will join restaurants like Thai Seed, Fitlife Foods, Mission BBQ, and Jersey Girl Bagels.
