A new food truck is preparing to hit the streets in Jacksonville. It’s called Fish & Grits, and if its name is any reflection of the menu, it’s liable to be a can’t-miss!

For the moment, details on the food truck are still scarce. What Now confirmed the opening with a representative on Friday.

“We don’t have a project date [for opening] right now,” the representative said, declining to comment further at this time. What Now is awaiting more information from the food truck’s owners.

We got curious about the new food truck after coming across plan review paperwork submitted for Fish & Grits by Fish & Grits LLC.

The paperwork places Fist & Grits at 2851 Edgewood Ave N, in the retail center on the northeast corner of the intersection with Rio Grand Avenue (pictured above). There, it would join a restaurant community that includes Annie Ru’s Carryout & Catering and Lunch Break.

It’s not yet known whether Fish & Grits will be permanently stationed there, or if it’ll be keeping on the move, so stay tuned for more details!
