Bringing together a service station with a fast-casual restaurant offering Southern-style cuisine with the Southern hospitality to go with it, Parker’s Kitchen is preparing to take Northeast Florida by storm. A competitor in a space that includes brands like the Texan Buc-ee’s and the Iowan Casey’s, the Savannah-based brand is going big with locations planned for Jacksonville, Orange Park, and beyond.
As the expansion ramps up, another planned location has come to light. As What Now reported, there were at least four locations planned for the area, but that number keeps going up. Coverage by the Jacksonville Daily Record had already indicated last year, in fact, that it was seven. But according to a recent Instagram post by Brenton Graham, in a “Clay County Intel Briefing,” the number is actually 10, with three locations planned for Clay County.
One of these, as the Daily Record reported, will be in Fleming Island, taking up its post at the intersection of US-17 and Creighton Road, near the Sunset Tiki Bar.
It sounds like there’s a lot more news to come from Parker’s Kitchen!
“Jacksonville’s fast-growing population, robust economy and growing retail market make it an attractive region for expansion,” said Amanda Thompson, Senior Director of Real Estate and Development at Parker’s Kitchen. “With its business-friendly environment and vibrant lifestyle appeal, the city offers tremendous opportunity. As a company, expanding into the Jacksonville market aligns seamlessly with our strategic growth objectives. We’re excited to support the local community and to contribute to its ongoing success as the area continues to grow.”
As always, Fleming Island’s Parker’s Kitchen location will feature “award-winning, Southern-inspired food made from scratch daily, including a hot breakfast bar, hand-breaded, never-frozen Southern Fried Chicken Tenders and daily specials.”
