Whataburger is opening three new restaurants in Middle Tennessee this spring. The first restaurant has opened its doors in Franklin on May 24. The opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event and giveaways.
Whataburger Opens New Restaurant in Franklin
Franklin has welcomed a new Whataburger location this week at 3075 Mallory Lane. As part of the brand’s expansion plans, this is the first of three openings planned for this spring. Two more locations will open soon in East Nashville and Columbia.
Whataburger is a popular fast-food chain expanding its footprint in Middle Tennessee. Known for its made-to-order burgers and signature sauces, it has become a favorite for many.

Opening Day Celebrations
The Franklin opening was celebrated with a morning filled with festivities. It began with a ribbon-cutting event and was followed by special giveaways.
The first three customers in line received a free Whataburger for a year. This includes the first in drive-thru lanes A and B, and the first inside the lobby. Other customers received a Whataburger swag bag and a free Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit while supplies lasted.
