Happy Good, a bagel place by day and cocktail lounge by night, is opening in Downtown Phoenix.

The shop will open at 310 E. Buchanan Street in the city’s Warehouse District this summer, according to Phoenix New Times.

Steven McMillen, the owner of Stoop Kid, is behind the new concept, which will offer a unique menu of open faced bagel sandwiches and pastries in the daytime, with a switch up in the evenings of  low-ABV cocktails and a small food menu. No word yet on whether both bagels and cocktails will be available at the same time, but the possibilities are amazing. Happy Good will also entertain guests with a listening lounge vibe, making it a great chill spot. There will also be a small market and bottle shop component.

This summer is a busy time for Phoenix’s Warehouse District. Otra Pizzeria and Better Days will open next door to Happy Good at the historic  Gerardo’s Building, making this neighborhood a new destination for a casual evening out.  The concepts also have ties to each other. McMillen’s burger shop, Stoop Kid, is located inside the Churchill, which is owned by Kell Duncan. Duncan, in turn, is behind the Better Days bar that will be Happy Good’s neighbor.
