A new food truck offering Venezuelan cuisine is in the works in Jacksonville. It’s called La Vinotinto Express, and while no opening date has been set yet, Yohara, the food truck’s owner, says work is underway.

“We’re not sure yet when it’s going to open,” Yohara told What Now on Friday. “But it’s going to be a food truck serving Venezuelan food.”

Judging by the name, we would also expect to see red wine on offer, as well—although the licensing for that can probably be tricky.

Asked for further details about the menu, Yohara said La Vinotinto Express’s selection of food offerings is still under development.

It hasn’t been revealed yet where the food truck plans to set up shop. Submitted plan review documents give the address 3813 University Blvd W, between Powers and Chester Avenues.

What Now is awaiting further details, so stay tuned!
