Copper Kettle Brewing Co. is bidding farewell to the Denver community on June 27, 2026. After 15 years of service, the craft brewery is going to shut down.

Through an official social media post, the team behind the brewery shared the closure announcement. The post confirmed that the operations will continue as usual over the next three months.

Copper Kettle Brewing Co. to Close After 15 Years

Denver-based couple Jeremy Gobien and Kristen Kozik founded Copper Kettle Brewing Co. in 2011. The brewing company is one of the most well-known and beloved breweries in the Denver area.

Copper Kettle Brewing Company features seasonal releases, experimental flavors, and classic styles that attract a wide range of customers.

Along with craft beer, the brewery offers a welcoming environment with a rustic vibe and live music.

The team behind the brewery recently shared a Facebook post announcing the closure of its S. Valencia Street, Denver location. The post stated, “It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news: Copper Kettle Brewing Co. will be closing our doors on Saturday, June 27, 2026.”

In the post, the Copper Kettle team explained, “For the next three months, it’s business as usual. Same beers, same events, and all the familiar faces. More than anything, we want the time we have remaining to be a celebration of the incredible community that has made the past 15 years so special.”

Additionally, as part of its final months’ celebrations, Copper Kettle Brewing Co. plans to host a 15th anniversary event from June 6 to June 8.

“For anyone wanting to hear more about this from our owner and head brewer, Jeremy, he will be at the brewery tonight, Monday 3/30, at 6 p.m. to answer any questions you may have,” the team behind the brewery added.

Some of the popular beers featured on the Copper Kettle list are Mexican Chocolate Stouts, Helles, Hazy IPAs, and its flagship beer, Contains Happiness.

Fans Share Memories and Tributes Across Social Media

Several loyal customers and local fans of Copper Kettle Brewery expressed grief and heartbreak following the news of closure. Some of the patrons shared cherished memories and emotional messages on social media.

One of the fans wrote, “I was lucky enough to be part of the Kettle years ago as the taproom manager, and it left a lasting mark on me. So many great people, long nights, and memories that stick with you well beyond your time there. It was never just a brewery…it was a community, and I’m really grateful I got to be a small part of it.”

“Your Mexican Chocolate Stout is one of the reasons I grew to love stouts, and they became my favorite beer. I drank many Mexican Chocolate Stouts while I lived in Denver from 2005 to 2016, and I hope I get to have another before you close in June,” shared another longtime customer.

In the announcement post, the team behind the brewery has not shared any official reason for the closure. Even though the brewery is about to close this summer, it remains focused on celebrating its final months with the community.
