Chiang Mai, a Thai restaurant known for its elevated, authentic cuisine, is getting ready to open a new location in Mississauga at 285 Enfield Place, near Square One Shopping Centre.

The new Mississauga restaurant will be the largest Chiang Mai location so far, according to Toronto.com. The company has not officially confirmed the address yet, and an exact opening date has not been announced, but this new location is expected to open in April 2026. Customers can expect traditional Thai dishes such as pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, khao soi, and green curry, with some locations offering brunch options like Thai milk tea French toast and lobster khao soi benny.

The Mississauga location marks the brand’s sixth and represents continued expansion in the region.

The restaurant’s concept blends traditional Thai flavors with modern presentation, offering an elevated dining experience. Each Chiang Mai location emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients and house-made preparations. The Mississauga location will include ample seating, and the layout is expected to accommodate both casual dining and larger groups.

Chiang Mai’s menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, noodle dishes, curries, wok options, and Thai-inspired brunch items. Signature dishes include wagyu khao soi dumplings, crying tiger steak, Gai Yaang, and the whole lobster pad thai. Vegetarian and seafood options are available, alongside a selection of wines, beers, and specialty cocktails.

The restaurant is also known for community involvement, participating in charitable initiatives in Chiang Mai, Thailand, such as fundraising events and school supply donations. This expansion into Mississauga reflects Chiang Mai’s commitment to growing its presence in the GTA while maintaining its focus on authentic Thai cuisine and community engagement.
