Gabino’s Creperie, a Coachella Valley cafe known for handheld sweet and savory crepes, is getting ready to open a new location in La Quinta at 78015 Main Street, Suite 108.

The company’s third location is set to move into the former home of Disco Rabbit, a short-lived gourmet grilled cheese concept in Old Town La Quinta, according to Coachella Valley Independent. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the expansion marks the brand’s continued growth across the desert. The cafe will offer a mix of crepes, salads, and casual fare.

“Location 3 is officially coming to Old Town La Quinta… From our pop-up days, to that tiny 300 sq ft window in the back alley, to downtown Indio, to now opening our third location, this journey has been unreal,” the company said in an Instagram post. “No shortcuts. Just long days, late nights, and a community that believed in us from the start… We’re grateful. We’re hungry. And we’re ready to bring Gabino’s South to life.”

Gabino’s Creperie currently operates locations in Indio and Palm Springs, building a following through its approachable menu and small footprint service style. The concept began as a pop-up before expanding into brick-and-mortar locations. Its growth reflects steady demand for quick, handheld dining options.

Old Town La Quinta serves as a central hub for dining, shopping, and local events in the area. The addition of Gabino’s brings another casual option to the walkable district. This will be an excellent landing space for the concept, given the area’s steady foot traffic and mix of locals and visitors. The space includes a window service setup with limited outdoor seating.

The menu at Gabino’s Creperie focuses on handheld crepes along with salads and simple cafe offerings. The concept emphasizes quick service with a compact footprint. Its format allows for both takeout and casual outdoor dining.

While Gabino’s prepares to open, Disco Rabbit, its predecessor at the Old Town La Quinta space, closed its doors for good at that location. The team behind Disco Rabbit plans to continue with special events and pop-up appearances around the Coachella Valley. “Last but not least, major love to our friends at Disco Rabbit, today’s their last day in La Quinta. Go show them support, give them a follow, and keep your eyes peeled for their pop-ups and events. They’re not done,” Gabino’s shared on Instagram.
