The chain, which has been serving the area for 15 years, is adding to its empire with a new Tenleytown location, reports local media outlet PoPville.
The concept is bringing its beloved acai bowls and smoothies to 4523 Wisconsin Ave, NW. Local health food enthusiasts may recognize that address as the former home of Robeks Fruit Smoothies and Healthy Eats and will be thrilled to see nutritious dining returning to the space after Robek’s closure in August of 2025.
South Block has an impressive regional footprint; the Tenleytown store will be its 7th location in DC and 26th overall. South Block founder and CEO Amir Mostafavi kindly made some time to confirm the Tenleytown location with What Now DC, saying: “We are excited about Tenleytown… Tentative opening is looking like late summer right now”-an opening timeline that is sure to be music to locals’ ears.
