Tyto Athene, LLC filed a WARN notice with the Maryland Department of Labor on April 2, 2026. The company will lay off 39 employees at its facility in Fort Meade. The company did not outline a reason for the layoffs.

Tyto Athene, LLC is a privately held technology firm based in Reston, Virginia. The company provides IT services and consulting, turning data into actionable information. The company filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice in Maryland.

According to the notice, the employees will be laid off on May 31, at the facility at 6910 Cooper Avenue, Fort Meade, MD 20755. The layoffs are categorized as “mass layoffs – no recall,” indicating that once the employment terminates, the employees will not be called back.
