A new burger spot is joining the Plymouth Park & Eats truck park on Schoolcraft and Ekles next to the Thyme Machine Lebanese food truck.
961burger has been teasing the community with homemade burger samples of their Lebanese, Italian and Southern BBQ burgers coming to 39411 Schoolcraft Road. One of the owners Rami Haddad said they will open for business in May and they are excited to take this new trailer to events like festivals, corporate meetups and graduations.
Haddad & his partner Chucri Nemnoum opened Thyme Machine last year, a franchise from Miami offering specialty homemade manoushe, grape leaves, lentil soup and shawarma. Rami and Chucri wanted to expand the food truck area to be a popular hangout spot in the Plymouth community, and the park also has the addition of Lumpia Lane Express, a Filipino cuisine spot and Toxy Burrito, a taste of Mexico.
“We are getting great feedback, one can read in Thyme Machine 5 stars google rating. Since May 2025, over 200 positive authentic reviews cannot be wrong.” Haddad said. There will be a few burger flavors hidden under Beirut, Lebanese, Southern, guilt-free and truffle burgers accompanied by fries.
A local entrepreneur, Haddad works for Sony Depthsensing Solutions and owns 12 Airbnb listings in Livonia and Novi while managing his restaurants. Rami and Chucri want to encourage members of the community to start their own businesses by partnering on future food trucks as they expand. On the Thyme Machine social media pages, they regularly showcase customers who stop by and show support.
Rami gives credit to his partner Nemnoum who owns the IP of the taste and texture of the juicy burger recipe made from his mom’s kitchen secrets in Lebanon. Chucri is also a celebrated entrepreneur in the middle east running over four restaurants between Egypt and Lebanon, which include one of the most popular nightlife spots in the heart of Beirut called La Scene Michel Fadel, a famous artist, composer and musician.
The food truck park is on the east side of Plymouth, near the interchange of Interstates 96 and 275. There are no restaurants in the surrounding area, as most of the dining options are around the city’s downtown. It is accessible by turning left or right onto Schoolcraft Road.
