The street tacos option is on the way to the western suburb this year.

Conversations are happening online about a new Real Taco Express location coming to 24020 Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills. The restaurant currently operates in Troy and Roseville. Owner Silviano Arellano told What Now Detroit he is aiming to open in a month or further out.

Real Taco Express also operates a food truck that offers catering around Metro Detroit. The business has also set up shop downtown in the past. Their newest location will be in the former McDonald’s on Orchard Lake Road.

“Experience the authentic flavors of the streets of Mexico with our regional restaurant and fleet of food trucks, dedicated to serving up the best Mexican street food in Metro Detroit,” says the description on their website.

Menu options include multiple taco combos, like the three corn tacos with ground beef, birria, pastor or steak. Toras, hard shell and flour tacos are all available. Each taco combination is served with rice, beans and a drink.

The new taco spot will be on the east side of Orchard Lake Road, just south of a Shermwin-Williams location. This is near the intersection of W 10 Mile Road. Other concepts at the intersection include Greene’s Hamburgers, Village Grill of Farmington Hills and Uncle Andy’s Pizza.

More information on Real Taco express and the opening date can be found on their website.
