DFW diners, get ready for a fresh way to scratch your sandwich itch. Port of Subs has big goals for the region, with plans already in motion for a Plano location.

Husband-and-wife team Robert and Nikki La Grace are the dynamic duo spearheading the upcoming Port of Subs invasion. The opening salvo is planned at 3411 Renner Road.  Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that the sandwich shop will be occupying a newly constructed 1,400 square foot storefront, with work set to start this summer.

The La Graces are on deck to open 20 Port of Sub locations across the DFW. Robert explains that the brand’s commitment to community helped encourage the pair to get on board with the chain. He states: “We’ve always been deeply rooted in the communities we live in. From our involvement in local schools to supporting small businesses, community impact is at the heart of everything we do. As long time Port of Subs fans, we felt aligned with not only the product, but the brand’s mission and values.”

Founded in Nevada in 1972, Port of Subs has been a welcome addition to the fast-casual sandwich dining scene. The chain has enjoyed considerable success and now has more than 125 locations open.
