Spring’s close is bringing a momentous opening to the DFW this year. Beloved Southern staple Cracker Barrel is planning to open a new Prosper location in the near future, reports Community Impact.

The American classic will be opening its doors 3830 West University Drive this spring. Prosper won’t have to wait much longer to sink its teeth into the brand’s signature dishes; Cracker Barrel is on deck to open in late spring or early summer.

Cracker Barrel is an American dining institution. The concept first entered the dining scene in 1969 and has been held dear in the hearts of diners ever since. The website sums up what makes the chain so adored, saying “From the start, our values have been simple: hard work, family, and hospitality that feels like home. Cracker Barrel first opened to give travelers a good place to stop and enjoy themselves. And these many years later, we hope our guests near and far feel the same.”

Propelled by a delicious menu of hearty Southern American favorites, Cracker Barrel has spread to include over 650 locations across the US.
