Woodtown Sports, LLC, which operates as Splitrock Tap & Wheel, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The Fairfax, California-based company sells bicycles and gear, offers repair services, and operates an on-site taproom.

Court records suggest that, by filing, the company intends to continue operations as a “small business debtor.” In addition, the latest process could help it in readjusting its finances amid a wide gap between its assets and liabilities.

The company, which operates as Splitrock Tap & Wheel and serves customers across Northern California, has begun bankruptcy proceedings.

The case is being handled in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.

Detailed case records are currently available on the PACER database. According to it, Woodtown Sports, LLC voluntarily filed its petition on April 13, 2026.

Attorney Brent D. Meyer of Finestone Hayes LLP is offering legal representation to the company.

According to case filings available on RK Consultants, the company is a small business debtor under 11 U.S.C. § 101(51D) and has elected to proceed under Subchapter V of Chapter 11.

Filing details also state that the company has aggregate noncontingent liquidated debts of less than $3,424,000. This amount does not include debts owed to insiders or affiliates and is subject to adjustment on April 1, 2028, and every three years thereafter.

Among the documents submitted by the company was a summary of assets and liabilities. According to it, Woodtown Sports, LLC has total liabilities exceeding $1 million, while its assets are approximately $138,000.

The company also filed a list of creditors, including the 20 largest unsecured creditors who are not insiders. One of the largest creditors, 1 H Street Associates in Kentfield, has unsecured claims totaling more than $143,000 tied to a lease agreement. Other creditors include Kathleen Faircloth, Bank of America, and Lightspeed Commerce USA, Inc.

Court filings indicate that after administrative expenses are paid, no funds will be available for distribution to the unsecured creditors.

Additional filings include a statement of financial affairs, a corporate ownership statement, and a list of equity security holders. Schedules A/B, D, E/F, G, and H were submitted as well.

Before the petition listing these details was filed with the court, it was signed by Jason Faircloth, an authorized representative and the company’s managing member.
