Wingstop is revving up for its next big opening. According to the team at Wingstop, the brand is slated to open at 9213 West Road, Suite 100, this Spring.
Construction on the new project is already underway and slated to wrap up soon.
At the helm of the opening is the ongoing franchisee group, the GSR Group. What Now Houston has spoken with GSR Director of Construction, Danielle DeVille, about continued expansion plans. GSR Partner, Rahul Agrawal, has opened a number of locations in the Lone Star State already this year.
There are more than 50 locations in Houston. Texas has the highest concentration of Wingstop locations in the United States, with more than 450 restaurants. Wingstop surpassed 3,000 restaurants throughout the world late last year and is continuing to grow.
“We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to serve the world flavor since we first opened shop in ’94, and we’re just getting started,” the Wingstop website reads.
“1997 saw the opening of our first franchised Wingstop location, and by 2002, we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop home to the #1 Wings in the United States* and one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.”
Wingstop offers a variety of boneless and bone-in wings with varying degrees of heat, dipping sauces to cool it down, veggies to clean the palette, and a host of sides and drinks to make any meal complete.
“With more than 50 locations already operating across Houston, this opening reflects a continued demand for our brand and signature flavors in the market,” the Wingstop Communications team said via email.
The next Wingstop to hit the state of Texas is anticipated to open in Northwest Houston at 9213 West Road, Suite 100, this Spring.
