The SaiGon Pho and Grill, a Vietnamese restaurant known for its traditional noodle soups and grilled dishes, is getting ready to open a new location at Square One Shopping Center in Mississauga.
The company’s second location is set to join the lineup inside The Food District, a curated dining area within the mall, according to Insauga. While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, the restaurant is expected to open sometime in Summer 2026. The expansion follows the success of its original North York location and introduces the concept to a new audience in Mississauga.
The SaiGon Pho and Grill first opened near Finch Station in North York roughly a year ago. Since then, it has gained traction online, with many describing it as a hidden gem for its consistent execution and traditional approach. The restaurant emphasizes slow-simmered broths, fresh herbs, and made-to-order dishes.
The Food District at Square One has been a popular destination since opening in 2019, featuring a mix of established and emerging food concepts. Current vendors include Bao Mama, Kibo Sushi House, La Carnita, Sweet Jesus, and Uncle Tetsu. This will be an excellent landing space for The SaiGon Pho and Grill, given the steady foot traffic and variety of dining options already drawing customers to the area.
The menu offers a wide range of Vietnamese staples, including pho with options like rare beef, brisket, beef balls, and smoked short rib. Other noodle soups include satay pho and Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang, a pork-and-seafood noodle soup that is frequently highlighted online. Additional offerings include vermicelli bowls, grilled meats with rice, and dishes such as Bún Bò Huế and tomato-braised beef brisket.
