A North Auburn taproom that’s been closed for over six months is getting ready to pour again.
After months of renovations, Rebellion Brewing Company is preparing to reopen its taproom at 11768 Atwood Rd, Suite 3. In an April 11 social media update, the team teased the long-awaited return and announced an exciting new addition to the experience.
When it reopens, Rebellion will feature a food menu from Auburn’s former Little Belgium Deli & Beer Bar. “Grab a pint. Stay for some food. Enjoy good times,” the announcement reads. “The Little Belgium Deli at Rebellion Brewing Co. — Re-Opening Soon.”
Before it shuttered a few years ago, Little Belgium was known for its Belgian beers, deli sandwiches, and impressive variety of vegan and vegetarian options. Though a menu hasn’t been released, diners can expect a similar lineup at the taproom, now paired with Rebellion’s signature craft brews.
When husband-and-wife owners Bret and Ariel McComb opened Rebellion in 2020, the taproom quickly drew crowds with its bottom-up tap system, where magnetized glasses fill from the base for a smooth, foam-controlled pour. The space also includes thoughtful touches like an ice rail to keep drinks chilled, wireless charging at the bar, and multiple large-screen TVs.
It’s not yet clear what upgrades were made during the renovation, and an official reopening timeline hasn’t been announced. What Now Sacramento has reached out to the McCombs for more information and will share updates as they become available.
