Midtown now has two more restaurant spaces for lease.

Article 14 and Olmsted, owned and operated by Legacy Restaurant Partners, won’t be renewing its lease in the heart of Midtown, according to a message posted to the restaurant and event space’s website.

The neighboring concepts, at 1180 Peachtree Street, closed for the last time Saturday, February 27. Olmsted was an event space (formerly a restaurant), and Article 14 was a New American cuisine restaurant. Both concepts first opened at this location in 2012.

“We would like to thank the thousands of Atlantans who dined with us over the past several years at Article 14,” the restaurant announced in the note.

Legacy Restaurant Partners is the group behind STATS, Twin Smokers, Der Biergarten, and a few other restaurant concepts – All which are located in the Downtown neighborhood, unlike Article 14 and Olmsted. The group also specializes in hotels, such as the Glenn Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Atlanta.

  • I enjoyed article 14 for pre or post Woodruff Arts Center performances. The cocktails were also lovely. Legacy continues to focus on their core downtown. They also just bought the Doubletree on Spring.
