A local Italian bakery is expanding its footprint this year. Giulia Italian Bakery will open in Alpharetta City Center this summer, according to a release.
Founded in 2020 by brothers Ben and Seth Gjuka, Giulia now has locations in Peachtree Corners and East Cobb. This location will be the fourth for the brand.
The spot serves fresh pastries and breads made with Italian-sourced ingredients. Items are made fresh every morning, including croissants, bombolones, baguettes and sourdough breads. Other menu items include sandwiches, cakes and focaccias. Giulia also offers Italian wine, beer and coffee as well as gelato.
“From the beginning, Giulia has been about more than exceptional pastries and breads. It is about creating a place where people from all walks of life come together and feel a true sense of community,” Seth said in the release. “Alpharetta City Center brings that vision to life. It captures the classic Main Street feel that is often missing today. That sense of connection drew us here, and we are excited to bring our passion for high quality ingredients and authentic Italian baking to downtown Alpharetta.”
The atmosphere will offer a community-driven environment, with food items displayed for selection to purchase and a cozy, elegant design.
“We’re always looking to bring in concepts that not only elevate the experience at Alpharetta City Center but also genuinely connect with the community, and Giulia Italian Bakery does exactly that,” Lisa Carter, property manager at Alpharetta City Center, said in the release. “Their commitment to tradition aligns seamlessly with the character of the property, and we’re excited to welcome a concept that encourages people to slow down, gather and enjoy the moment.”
Another local restaurateur, Juan Calle, is bringing his new Mexican concept Amasa to Alpharetta City Center this summer, as well.
