Eldorado Cafe, located at 3300 W. Anderson Lane, Suite 303, has plans to expand, according to a filing last month with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The cafe will take over the 4,400-square-foot adjacent space at Suite 301 to expand its footprint.
Construction is slated to begin in June and be completed in spring 2027, according to the filing. The expansion will double the size of the restaurant, increasing the seating capacity from 80 to 150 and allowing for a second bar, according to the Austin-American Statesman.
Joel and Joanna Fried are behind the brand, which serves Mexican-inspired comfort food. Menu items include cocktails, enchiladas, papas rellenas, ceviche, street tacos, quesadillas, burritos and various protein-forward entrees. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
