Chamblee Tap and Market, which opened near Chamblee Town Hall in 2024, has secured the purchase of a three-story Kennesaw building at 2881 N. Main St. The Kennesaw Development Authority approved the purchase in their meeting last month.
Chamblee Tap and Market, founded by David Heymann and Jeff Kimmel, serves as a food-and-beverage destination in Chamblee. It offers a taproom (which is currently closed for alcohol sales but continues to offer nonalcoholic and THC drinks) as well as South End Smokehouse, which specializes in Texas-style barbecue. The space also features Sidecar Coffee, which serves handcrafted coffee beverages, breakfast and lunch.
It is unclear precisely what the plans are for the building in Downtown Kennesaw. Further details regarding the concept planned for the space remain unknown. What Now Atlanta has reached out to the Chamblee Tap and Market team for additional details on plans for the new space.
Chamblee Tap and Market is not the only brewing company making a foray into the Kennesaw area. Reformation Brewery, which has three existing locations in the Greater Atlanta area, also has a project in the works in Kennesaw that is expected to open in 2027.
