“Tampa just landed a major retail upgrade,” says a post published by Tampa Weekly on Instagram. “Ralph Lauren is officially opening a new store in Hyde Park Village, taking over the former Wine Exchange space at 1609 W. Snow Ave—one of the most visible storefronts in the entire district.”
The Tampa Bay Business Journal reported on the news recently as well, describing the move by Ralph Lauren as part of a “flock” of luxury brands headed to the shopping center.
Actually, this isn’t the first time Ralph Lauren has had a presence at Hyde Park Village, and, as Tampa Weekly points out, “its comeback signals how much the area has evolved into a true luxury shopping destination.”
“Ralph Lauren is a global leader in the design, marketing, and distribution of luxury lifestyle products,” says the Hyde Park Village website, which has the new Ralph Lauren store slated as “Coming Soon.”
“For almost 60 years, Ralph Lauren has sought to inspire the dream of a better life through authenticity and timeless style.”

Opening in Hyde Park Village, Ralph Lauren will be rejoining a roster of apparel brands that now include Anthropologie, Lululemon, Salt Pines, Zimmerman, and more.
