Snappy Burger is expanding! The beloved burger and drive-in theater joint is expected to open a new location in North Las Vegas. According to a recent city of North Las Vegas Planning Commission Meeting agenda, the new Snappy Burger is planned to open on West Cheyenne Avenue and Allen Lane.
The agenda details that Snappys Inc submitted a development plan to develop a fast-food restaurant with a drive-in theater.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to Snappy Burger owner Jon Basso, who also owns and operates the Heart Attack Grill at the Neonopolis on Fremont Street. Unfortunately, we did not hear back from Basso by the time of this publication.
Snappy Burger began operating in the early 2020s and quickly gained popularity for its combination of a drive-thru burger joint and a drive-in movie theater. The family-owned 1950s-style drive-thru and drive-in movie theater, located at 101 N Decatur Blvd, is known for its nostalgic atmosphere and affordable burgers. The brand has become a unique staple in the local Las Vegas food scene.
“Love the place, ” a review on the Snappys website reads.
“Love the staff. Burgers, popcorn, big, icy sugary thing. Love them too. The lot is cramped, but so what.”
No word yet on just how large the new venue will be, but you can expect the same great value and yummy menu. Besides the burgers, Snappy Burger also offers grilled cheese, a double burger, fries, ices, and popcorn.
The new Snappy Burger is anticipated to open in North Las Vegas on West Cheyenne Avenue and Allen Lane before this summer.
