Local brewpub Pinthouse has a new project in the works. It will open at 1605 E. New Hope Dr., Building 1, in Leander, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
A spokesperson with the team confirmed that a project is in the works with What Now Austin but could not immediately provide additional information. The team plans to share additional details in the coming weeks.
The permit indicates that the development will be a ground-up construction of a 13,640-square-foot restaurant and brewery. The spot will include an outdoor space with a covered canopy and an outdoor beer garden.
Construction is slated to begin in September and the project should conclude by July 2027.
Currently, Pinthouse has five locations, including three in Austin, one in Round Rock and one in San Antonio. The concept, crafted by six friends in Austin, offers a variety of beer and Pinthouse Pizza, which offers specialty and build-your-own pies as well as other options such as salads and sandwiches.
