Cledis Burgers & Beer is preparing to open a fourth Tennessee location at 1211 Greenland Drive in Murfreesboro, as first reported by the Murfreesboro Pulse. WhatNow Nashville reached out to the company to inquire about an anticipated opening timeline, but did not receive a response by the time of publication.
The upcoming restaurant will take over the former home of The Boro Bar & Grill, which operated at the site for more than 40 years before closing last year. The Murfreesboro Pulse also reported that the new location is expected to feature indoor and outdoor seating, including a covered patio, similar to the company’s existing restaurants.
Owner Shane Nasby first launched Cledis in 2022 on Elm Hill Pike, then expanded the concept to Bellevue and, more recently, The Gulch. Previous reporting by WhatNow Nashville noted that the Gulch opening marked the brand’s third location.
According to the company’s website, the fast-casual concept serves smash burgers, sandwiches, wings, and rotating taps of local and regional beers. Signature menu items include the Skippy Thai Yay, Billy Berry Smash, and Oklahoma Smash burgers, alongside loaded fries, nachos, and shareable plates.
The Murfreesboro restaurant marks another step in the brand’s continued local growth as Cledis expands beyond Nashville proper.
