Wingstop, the chicken wing mega-chain with more than 2,500 locations worldwide, is continuing to grow its footprint in Central Florida. This week, What Now came across plan review documents submitted by Momagic 22 LLC for a new Wingstop location, which is to open at 2427 N Atlantic Ave, Suite 13, in Daytona Beach.

Wingstop is known for its wide variety of flavor profiles. On the Wingstop website, you can Find Your Flavor, be it something saucy or a dry rub. On the No Heat level, try Garlic Parmesan or Hawaiian. Dragging the slider just past Some Heat, you’ll find the Hot Honey Rub, the Original Hot sauce, and Spicy Korean Q. If you’re looking for All the Heat, you can try Atomic. (In which case, best of luck!)

“Wingstop quickly became a fan favorite when we first opened our doors in 1994,” says the Wingstop website’s About Us page. “Our proprietary recipes, outstanding food and superior customer service created a demand that could only be satisfied by more locations. And in 1997 we began offering franchises. Today we are one of the fastest-growing concepts in the country, attracting top entrepreneurs and operators with the drive and passion to own their own business.”

What Now reached out on Friday to Chuck Soderstrom, one of the franchisees behind the planned location. Soderstrom was not immediately available for comment.

Opening in the North Atlantic Avenue location, near Bellair Plaza, Wingstop would join restaurants like Miyabi Sushi, Aria Pizzeria, and Big Tunas Beach Bar & Grill.
