Washington-born IJ Sushi Burrito is expanding down the West Coast to Los Angeles this year. The brand will kick off its Southern California expansion with an opening at Westfield Topanga in Canoga Park in mid-June, owner Kevin He told What Now Los Angeles. The brand also has a location under construction at Westfield Culver City, which is expected to open in September. He also noted a location will open at Westfield Century City.
The Los Angeles locations will join five existing spots in Washington, one in Oregon and two in New Jersey. The brand debuted in California in April with an opening at Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Ana, and there is another Northern California location on the way to Westfield Galleria at Roseville. What Now Sacramento reported that the Roseville location is expected to open this fall.
IJ Sushi Burrito offers customizable meals, including build-your-own sushi burrito, build-your-own poke bowl and build-your-own salad bowl. There are also signature burrito offerings.
