After it was forced to close due to a dispute with the landlord, the Upper East Side restaurant Ship of Fools appears to be ready for a relaunch in Hell’s Kitchen. According to a document filed with Community Board 4, the relaunched Ship of Fools at 867 9th Ave. will be an all-day restaurant and bar. A sample menu included with the filing listed classic American fare, such as nachos, a steak sandwich, and sliders. The restaurant will also serve breakfast items and an all-day brunch. Owners Glenn and Owen Treacher are seeking a full liquor license and planning hours of operation that end at 2 a.m. What Now New York has reached out for more information.

The Treachers currently own The Liberty NYC, a classic New York bar, restaurant, and event space in Midtown. The restaurant’s website notes that it is “a modern haven with a nod to old world glamour,” and it exemplifies both the “wild spirit of the city,” as well as “the sophistication that this metropolis has to offer.”
