Midtown Manhattan welcomed a new bagel shop on May 17 with the opening of Utopia Bagels. It is the brand’s newest location and fourth overall. The new store celebrated the opening by giving free bagels to the first 100 customers.

Utopia Bagels is located on the ground floor of 875 Third Avenue. The new shop is open in a 2,700-square-foot space. It has ample seating and an open kitchen where customers can watch bagels being baked throughout the day.

The shop bakes more than 1,000 bagels per hour. It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The company operates stores in Whitestone, Long Island City, and Murray Hill. It also operates a food truck and ships bagels nationwide through Goldbelly.

Utopia Bagels is a business run by co-owners Jesse Spellman, Scott Spellman, and Angelo and Jimmy Tsoulos. It has built a loyal following over decade using a traditional bagel-making process, becoming a neighborhood staple. This includes hand-rolling, kettle-boiling, and baking bagels in a vintage carousel oven.

The popular items on the menu include the Baconeggandcheese sandwich. It also includes “The Worth It” with nova, cream cheese, onions, tomatoes, and capers. The menu also offers gluten-free and specialty bagels.

The company continues to expand its footprint in New York City, offering its signature bagels to a wider audience.
