According to a recent social media announcement, Hap’s Burgers & Taps is preparing to open a second location in Downtown Seattle, though an exact address and opening date have not yet been announced.
Hap’s currently operates from Mercer Island at 2411 76th Ave SE. The restaurant recently joined Conscious Hospitality Group, an emerging restaurant collective founded by Mercer Island natives Norman Wu and Danny Brawer.
The group says its mission centers on developing hospitality concepts rooted in health, sustainability and community-focused dining experiences.
The concept describes itself as a classic burger stand serving burgers, fries, shakes, beer, wine and more, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and Pacific Northwest products. Burgers are made with Royal Ranch grass-fed beef and organic produce.
Menu highlights include the signature HAP’s Burger, a double smashburger topped with cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato and HAP’s sauce, alongside the 76 Burger, crispy chicken sandwiches, handspun shakes and beef tallow fries.
Draft beer, cider and grab-and-go Pacific Northwest beverage options are also part of the lineup.
Hap’s joins a growing portfolio under Conscious Hospitality Group that includes brands such as Just Poke, SUGO Handroll Bar, Matcha Magic, Sano, Catch by Just Poke, WOW WOW Lemonade, Mt Joy and Club Seltzer.
