Golf and fun come together at The Bunkerr, a new combination golf simulator and lounge.

The Bunkerr Golf Lounge LLC just filed permit applications with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to open a golf simulator and lounge at The Fountains, located at 801 S. University Drive, Suite C-138. An opening date has not been announced.

The Bunkerr is the brainchild of Nick Kerr and his wife, Laura who had a goal of opening a spot for people who love golf, good drinks, good company, and good energy.

Since it’s indoors, The Bunkerr is perfect for golfers of any skill level who want to work on their swing without worrying about South Florida’s unpredictable — and often brutal — weather. The Bunkerr allows guests to play real simulated golf on iconic courses like Teton Pines, Butterfield, Glen Flora, and Awbrey Glen with the benefit of never having to leave South Florida.  The Bunkerr also featured lounge seating, so you can relax with a drink and a snack until it’s your turn at the tee.

The Bunkerr is beginner-friendly, while also challenging enough for advanced players. It can also host leagues, parties, and events.

The Bunkerr will offer beer and wine, along with sharable favorite bites like sliders, flatbread pizzas, hot dogs, and quesadilla — perfect for fueling up between swings.
