Wagyu House is preparing a new location in Bellevue, according to information listed on Chubby Group’s website. The restaurant is planned for 700 Bellevue Way NE, Ste. 280 in Bellevue, where the concept is currently marked as “coming soon.”
Plans for a Seattle-area Wagyu House location were first reported a few years ago, though the project has since been delayed. A new opening date has yet to be determined, and Whatnow Seattle will update this article as additional timing information becomes available.
Wagyu House centers its experience around all-you-can-eat yakiniku, a Japanese BBQ style where guests cook premium meats at tabletop grills.
The menu includes cuts ranging from American and Australian full-blood Wagyu to Japanese A5, combining interactive dining with premium beef and high-end presentation. The concept is known for pairing premium ingredients with a social dining format rooted in Japanese grilling traditions.
Wagyu House is part of Chubby Group, the hospitality company founded by David Zhao and formerly known as Chubby Cattle International. The company oversees a portfolio of restaurant concepts including The X Pot, Chubby Cattle, Niku X and Mikiya, while also operating businesses tied to premium Wagyu and caviar sourcing and distribution.
The Bellevue location joins a growing Wagyu House footprint that currently includes restaurants in Atlanta and Chicago, with additional locations listed as coming soon in Houston, New Jersey, Arizona and Washington. When completed, Wagyu House will bring its yakiniku concept to the Eastside.
