Miami Welcomes New Riviera-inspired Restaurant and Poolside Spot

Vilebrequin La Plage introduces a new hospitality concept to Miami Beach, featuring French-inspired cuisine, a rooftop lounge, and resort-style offerings.
The establishment is a collaboration between 34th Floor, Schulte F&B Group, and Vilebrequin. 34th Floor is the food and beverage wing of Schulte Hospitality Group, which holds a global portfolio of 240+ hotels and restaurants with 10,000 team members.
The property at 1685 Washington Ave. sits atop the UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection by Marriott Hotel and is owned and developed by Miami-based Finvarb Group and Luxembourg-based JAJ Investment Group.
The mixed-use destination intends to recreate Côte d’Azur in South Beach. Its launch marked the fifth global outpost for the luxury dining concept, with expansion across Cannes, Crete, Doha, and Oman.
French-born Vilebrequin La Plage General Manager Emmanuel Bergesio said, “La Plage is an extension of the Vilebrequin lifestyle.”
“We’re thrilled to bring the atmosphere and art de vivre of the Riviera—relaxed, joyful, and centered around the pleasures of the sea, good food, and time spent together. Miami felt like a natural place for the concept to land,” Bergesio, who holds 15-plus years of hospitality management experience, added.
A Blend of French Coastal Aesthetics and Miami Beach Luxury
The newest spot aligns with the swimwear brand’s legacy and draws clear inspiration from the French coast across its 18,000-square-foot space.
Vincent Darré has been the destination’s design in-charge and has focused on expressive color palette, sculptural furnishings, and playful details.
The restaurant accommodates 175 guests and offers views of both its indoor dining space and outdoor areas. Other highlights include an indoor dining room, bar and lounge, an exterior rooftop terrace, and a pool.
Miami Beach guests can also find swimwear and resort-wear ranges at the retail outpost in the property. They can receive exclusive Vilebrequin La Plage gift items as well.
