An organic grocery store is set to make its Columbia debut.
Sprouts Farmers Market recently signed a lease to anchor the Devine Crossing development. It will span approximately 24,000 square feet, a spokesperson confirmed to What Now Charleston.
The development sits in a high-traffic area near the University of South Carolina and is surrounded by other major retailers, including Whole Foods, Target, Starbucks and CVS.
The supermarket is one of the largest and fastest growing specialty retailers of fresh, natural food. It offers a thoughtfully curated selection of products supporting wellness, featuring organic, gluten-free, plant-based and non-GMO favorites.
Sprouts, headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, employs approximately 36,000 team members and operates more than 480 stores across 25 states nationwide.
The company currently operates two South Carolina locations in Greenville and Simpsonville; the Columbia store will mark its entry into the Midlands market.
Sprouts Farmers Market is scheduled to open in 2027. Visit the website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates.
