A new location for Midwest franchise Hawaiian Bros Island Grill is on the way to Downtown Atlanta, with plans to open at 112 Courtland St., according to a recent permit filing. This location will join one existing Georgia location for the brand in Decatur.

Late last year, Nashville-based franchise group MRCO announced that it had inked a 34-unit deal to bring the franchise to West Central Georgia, North Carolina and North Alabama. MRCO has been in the franchise business for 45 years and operates almost 90 Taco Bell units in the Southeast. The MRCO team initially had plans to roll out locations in 2026, but based on permitting, it appears that they will begin to roll out locations next year.

Founded in 2018, the brand serves Hawaiian-inspired fast-casual meals, including Huli Huli Chicken, Molokai Chicken, Luau Pig and Pacific Island Salad. Currently, Hawaiian Bros has locations primarily in the Midwest.
