Fast-casual pizza franchise Slice House by Tony Gemignani will open a new Ventura location this summer. It will open at 1780 Victoria Avenue, Unit E, in the Montalvo Square Shopping Center in July, according to a release.

“It’s an honor to continue expanding our Southern California footprint with our Slice House location opening in Ventura,” founder Tony Gemignani said in the release. “Our continued partnership with Vinny Margott has played a huge role in growing the brand across Ventura County, and his deep connection to the community makes this opening especially meaningful. We look forward to sharing our signature pizza styles and craft with new guests this summer.”

Ventura native Margott will be the franchise owner for the forthcoming Ventura location, adding to a multi-unit portfolio of locations across Ventura County and Los Angeles County. Slice House has existing locations in Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Porter Ranch, Palmdale, Santa Clarita, Burbank and Universal City.

“Opening our seventh Slice House restaurant is something we are very proud of, but to be opening a location in our hometown of Ventura makes this that much more special,” Margott said in the release. “As our third location in Ventura County following Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley, we know firsthand how strongly the brand resonates with the community, and we can’t wait to share the world-class pizza with even more guests throughout the area. From the start, our goal has been to create a welcoming neighborhood destination where guests can enjoy great pizza made with quality ingredients and craftsmanship, and we’re excited to keep growing with the community.”

The Ventura location will have room to seat 35 customers indoors and will have a communal outdoor patio. It will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with hours extended until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

The franchise, which has 150 units either open or in development, is known for its various pizza styles, including New York, Sicilian, Grandma and Detroit-style pizzas. Pizzas are served whole or by the slice, alongside other menu items such as salads, pastas and wings. Drink options include craft beers, wines and non-alcoholic sodas and juices.

Margott and the team are currently hiring for the location.
