Located on Citrus Park Drive near Veterans Expressway, The Plaza at Citrus Park is home to well-known stores like Burlington, Old Navy, Five Below, Ethan Allen, and more—alongside a restaurant roster featuring brands like Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse.

However, says coverage by the Tampa Bay Times, “the shopping center has watched a string of tenants leave in recent years.”

Tenants leaving the retail center have included “Joann Fabrics, which closed all its stores by May 2025, Party City, Honey Baked Ham Co. and, years before that, the anchor store Sports Authority.”

Now, several new tenants are on the way to bring the retail center into its next chapter. Among them is the growing Nordstrom sister concept, Nordstrom Rack, which is set to open along with other retailers like HomeGoods and Total Wine & More, the Tampa Bay Times coverage says.

“Welcome to Nordstrom Rack,” says the Nordstrom Rack website. “We’re all about delivering great brands at great prices—up to 70% off great-looking clothes, shoes and accessories, plus awesome décor for your home. Also awesome: 90% of the brands offered at Rack are the very same brands you’ll find at Nordstrom—with new trends, styles and staples delivered weekly.”

Nordstrom Rack carries a range of items for women, men, and children, along with shoes, bags, accessories, and home items.
